Hello! My name is Ainsley Ballard. I am a junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Marketing. 

This is my third year in TEDxUConn. As a child, I loved to watch TED Talks and even performed my own talk for an extracurricular project in 5th grade. That experience was extremely memorable experience for me, and I joined the club to allow others to speak about their passions.

I am the current TEDxUConn Vice President and Treasurer. Additionally, as the Design Chair of TEDxUConn, I oversee and execute the design of all conference logos, graphics, T-shirts, slideshows, and more. Since joining the organization at the start of my time at the University of Connecticut, I have worked on designs for our “All Hands On Deck” 2023 and “Mind The Gap” 2024, and am currently in the process developing our 2025 conference theme of “The Art of Possibility.”
