Event Manager

Hi! My name is Maylis Pabon. I am a sophomore at the University of Connecticut majoring in communication.

This is my first year in TEDxUConn. I joined TEDxUConn as I have always liked watching Ted Talks but also because I really enjoy organizing events; with my previous experience as a stage manager, I thought I could bring to the table new ideas for the TEDxUConn conference.

As a member of the club, my role is to help with the logistics of organizing the conference as an event manager but also MC during the conference.
