Nicole Julie Muthoni

Nicole Julie Muthoni is an aspiring educational technology consultant, a social entrepreneur, and social impact advocate. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Nicole came to the United States five years ago to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a focus in Infant and Child Research.

In the Spring of 2021, Nicole began to notice a significant digital divide in accessibility and usability of technology for young learners in emergent nations, specifically Kenya. Finding herself in a position to be an impassioned advocate, Nicole founded Pazatech- a non-profit organization designed to help provide computers to schools in Kenya using innovative strategies.

In her Tedx talk, Nicole explains the need for digital equity in educational opportunities through technology access, as well as how it can be done in rural communities using innovative means.

In her leisure time, Nicole takes pleasure in engaging in deep meaningful conversations, listening to podcasts, especially Ted Talks Daily, and trying out new cooking recipes. Her favorite thing to cook is chicken curry.
