Curation Chair

Hi, my name is Yessica Luna Juarez. I am currently a junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in psychology and minoring in crime and justice.

This is my second year at TEDxUConn. I joined TEDx because I wanted to help spread the ideas of those from our communities to those around us. I have been watching TEDx online for a long time and to be part of an organization which makes these conferences feels rewarding and like you are part of a community. 

As part of the curation chair, I delegate tasks to those within the curation committee, communicate regularly with our vice presidents, Sucika and Christian, in regards to speakers and speaker applications, as well as collect and organize all speaker information and materials for each event.
